pots made in kaaawa, hawaii
Hi, I’m Jaimie Nagle, a potter, teacher, writer, mom, wife, auntie, and [hopefully] your new pottery instructor! I’ve been teaching ceramics for the past 5 years in my Ka‘a‘awa studio, then in my gallery in Kailua. When I decided to close down my gallery, it was because I was missing the craft of ceramics. I’m a lifelong learner, and every time I take or give a workshop, I discover something new. Whether you’re brand new to clay or consider yourself advanced, there is always something to gain from being creative with others.
April 1st, Pipes at Fishschool
These functional pipes are fun to make and will be ready just in time for 4/20! This workshop is at Fishschool, the pottery studio inside Fishcake in Kakaako, Honolulu. You’ll have enough time to make TWO!
Group Hand-building Classes
If you’re looking for a way to connect with friends, family members, or co-workers, consider organizing a pottery class! In this scenario, I come to you. All you need is access to water and I will bring the clay and tools to your preferred location. Prices range from $80-$150 per person, depending on the size of your group, location, and the project. All materials, instruction, firing, and delivery of your final pieces are included in the price.
I have a minimum of 6 people for a private workshop.
Some pottery project ideas include: mugs, espresso cups, planters, trinket dishes, bowls, wind chimes, trays, and vases.
